Web Design and Site Work

eMidSouthInc.com - Timeshare reseller with offices in Branson, MO, Kansas City, MO, Nashville, TN and Memphis, TN. This site is constantly under maintenance, upgrading and updating. I have also built three other small sites for them, WholeSaleTimeShare.com and VacationClosings.com

Jail Bait Cycles and Rods - This was a rebuild of a site that a local web design company could not get working properly. Mark entrusted us to bring his site online, in a short period of time, and we delivered. This will be an on-going and expansive project. Be forewarned, the site may be taken as slightly risque, but there is no nudity. Thanks Mark, Packy and Josh!

JenkinsDiesel.com - Diesel truck dealer here in Springfield, MO. Their Google rankings are on the first PAGE of many searches relative to their business (GMC C5500, Western Star Tractor, Western Star Wrecker, Kimble Concrete Mixer, Sterling Bullett). That is the key to this site. UPDATE: They allowed another "web guy" to take over this site. I removed my link because I dont want to help bring up their pagerank. I a matter of less than a week, the new company has managed to completely obliterate their Google ranks. They only come up if you search for Jenkins Diesel now. There are a few pages they list on, but the links point to work that I did that has been erased. I wish them luck.

Brown and Wagner Mortgage Bankers, Springfield, MO - This was a rebuild of a site by a local web design company that is no longer in business. It is editable and manageable by staff at the company. The photo for the header was taken by me.

Medical and Mobility Supply, LLC. aka Bach Medical Supply - This is the web branch of local medical supply company located here, in Springfield, MO. We developed an eBay store and commercial website with a shopping cart. The store is turned off right now while they work out some staffing issues at the company.

JR's Western Store - One of Southwest Missouri's largest western stores. This site is a completely functional shopping cart store.

Country Road Collection - Antique Store on Bennett Street in Springfield. This is a beauitful store! Please drop by and visit with the friendly, knowledgable staff.

Green Timber Mallards - Stutgart Arkansas's famous hunting camp. It is run by Robbie Temple, guide and duck caller extraordinaire. This site's structure is up but the graphics need to be worked on.

Elimitrax - Manufacturer of hunting clothing designed to COMPLETELY eliminate the ground scent left when hunting. This site was built by another webdesign company but is now under my maintenance and control.

Triple H Kennel - Don't laugh too hard. Triple H Kennels was my first site. I did not know anything about building them at the time but wanted a boxer from this breeder. They did not have a website. This was the beginning of my new career, although I did not know it at the time. One day, I'll have another boxer. Those are truly the best dogs I can imagine.

Names I own and will put to use some day.

Why is the internet important?

The internet is no longer a "fad". It is here to stay. It is also the most viable, cost effective way of expanding your business. How much is a Yellow Page listing per year? What about the signage on your business? Newspaper ads? The list goes on. We spend thousands and thousands of dollars for local name recognition. Do these venues expand your business anymore? Do they bring in customers from out of the area? The internet can. What will business look like in 5 years? 10 years? Will you be ready?

I can help you.

Let's talk for a moment about what NOT to do.

www.wheelerauto.com, again, no link. I don't want to assist his rankings. I ran this website, did the eBay listings, sold vehicles and managed for him for over 2 years (my name is still present in at least 12 of the references he has on his site) . He knew almost nothing about eCommerce and the web, despite the fact that the legal name of his company is Wheelerauto.COM. During the interview, I even guessed his passwords correctly. Wow! In December of 2005, 20% of his sales came directly from the website due to Google searches, because of code I had written into his site. It came up on the first page of Google for "E150 Cargo Van", "Isuzu NPR", "C2500 work truck", "Knapheide Bed", "Ford Commercial Vehicles" and many more very broad categories and on national searches. At the time, his site looked different, the alignments were all correct, it was clean, colors were better, pictures actually worked, code was correct, etc. Now, you cannot find wheelerauto.com unless you do a search down to the Springfield level. Half of his listings have broken links, half have pictures that do not show. These type of mistakes will get you moved directly to the bottom in the search engines. The pictures that are there are of marginal quality (I bought my own $350 camera to use as his employee because the ones he had were so bad and wrote to 3.5 inch floppies, he's very "frugal". Yes, there is animosity). You can also see where the code that drives the site has been incorrectly entered, showing up as remnants on several pages. Basically, it all comes down to this. If you want to be an eCommerce company, and the most you can do is to answer your email, and cut and paste, then hire a professional to do the other parts for you, pay them enough to keep them happy, and they will make it appear to the rest of the world as if you really know what you are doing. If your site looks and operates as badly as wheelerauto.com, get in touch with me. I would love to help, especially if you are one of his competitors.

A note: As hard as it is for me to do, I really must thank him for treating me as he did. Without that motivation, I would not be where I am now, working for myself. Out of adversity come our greatest triumphs. Thank you!
